Requirements
Must have:
- Experience in systems engineering, software engineering, ERP engineering, or a comparable field - Proficient hands-on development experience with NetSuite (SuiteScript 2.x is required) - Strong software development skills in Python and JavaScript; familiarity with other scripting languages is advantageous - Comprehensive understanding of database design and data modeling principles - Experience working with APIs and system integrations - Solid grasp of networking fundamentals along with identity and access management concepts - Familiarity with DevOps principles and version control practices - Background in administering Microsoft Azure - Capability to independently investigate, diagnose, and resolve intricate system issues
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design, development, and maintenance of customizations in NetSuite using SuiteScript 2.x - Create workflows, custom records, and scalable data structures - Develop and sustain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions - Write and manage backend automation scripts (in Python or similar languages) - Enhance the performance and data integrity of NetSuite - Design reporting frameworks that support operational and executive decision-making processes - Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to refine and automate processes to minimize friction - Oversee and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure - Manage Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, and governance of identities - Implement secure cloud architectures and adhere to best practices - Formulate backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies - Employ DevOps concepts such as CI/CD, version control, and automated deployments - Monitor system performance and execute observability practices - Produce clear, maintainable, and well-documented solutions - Utilize database principles (schema design, indexing, query optimization) - Conduct root-cause analysis across application and infrastructure layers - Mitigate manual tasks through automation - Keep architectural documentation and technical standards updated - Serve as a technical liaison between business stakeholders and systems
