Requirements
Must have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development using React - At least 5 years of experience with Git and branching strategies - A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Agile methodologies - At least 3 years of experience utilizing container technologies - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cloud software development environment - At least 5 years of experience developing applications with PHP (desired) - A minimum of 7 years of experience developing software with React (desired)
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain web applications in collaboration with team members, ensuring scalable and high-performing solutions that meet technical specifications - Collaborate with clients, analysts, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives - Prioritize code quality, readability, maintainability, and efficiency, adhering to coding standards to minimize resource usage - Apply standardized software engineering principles, such as Agile methodologies and CI/CD, for consistent and reliable development - Participate in monthly peer code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, providing and receiving constructive feedback - Maintain and enhance existing applications through regular updates and improvements to ensure ongoing functionality - Integrate and manage databases using MSSQL and MySQL during the development process - Prepare documentation for software solutions, submitting it for review and approval by relevant authorities - Maintain the DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository as required, updating entries based on changes in the production environment - Evaluate the impact of government-approved change requests and provide feedback to leadership on performance and reliability aspects - Ensure compliance with 508 standards - Submit code through CI/CD pipeline tools and verify adherence to required standards
