We are seeking a skilled Application Developer & Maintenance professional to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise software solutions that support our Medical Transportation and Freight Audit operations. You will serve as a dedicated IT partner for the Medical Transportation business teams, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. Your expertise will ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of critical applications, contributing to the overall efficiency of our healthcare logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- *Qualifications**
- 4-8 years of experience in application development and maintenance, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Hands-on experience with custom application development
- Proficiency in Angular, Java (Spring Boot), PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), GCP, and MongoDB
- Experience with software functional and manual testing tools such as JIRA
- Experience in maintaining Style Guides and UI/UX design for large enterprise applications
- Proven ability to support and build multi-system integrations (e.g., Boomi, Kafka)
- Familiarity with SAP ERP systems (a plus, not required)
- Experience with application lifecycle management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop integration solutions (Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Experience with transportation and logistics software is preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to deliver both short- and long-term solutions
- Ability to define data preparation and testing strategies
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- *Responsibilities**
- Design and implement solutions in the Medical Transportation and Freight Audit areas to optimize operational workflows
- Serve as a dedicated IT partner for Medical Transportation business teams, understanding their needs and providing technical support
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless data flow across platforms
- Perform functional and manual testing to validate application functionality and performance
- Implement and maintain UI/UX Style Guides for enterprise applications to ensure consistency and usability
- Partner with key stakeholders to map out end-to-end business workflows and align them with technical solutions
- Facilitate technical solution options and conduct feasibility assessments for proposed implementations
- Review and approve technical designs and specifications, considering performance, impact, and scalability
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors to support and enhance system integrations
- Refine initiatives into technical stories and provide mentorship to junior team members
- Conduct code reviews and offer technical guidance to developers to ensure quality standards
