Our company is expanding by adding a Java Developer to our growing team. The successful candidate will work within a product team in developing new and supporting existing product functionalities.
Position reports to the Project Manager or Operations Director unless otherwise specified.
This candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card holder and must be willing to have security background checks.

Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of JEE/Java Framework, programming experience and overall Java development techniques to perform daily Java development, Automated Unit Testing, and troubleshooting responsibilities.
- Design and Develop JEE Application that are aligned with the overall Architectural Approach and Platform being used by the team.
- Troubleshooting customer defects with DataGlance products as they arise.
- Work with DataGlance Developers creating new functionality or modifying to support customer needs.
- Working extensively with the DataGlance core products and framework.
- Creating APIs/web services to interface with customer applications.
- Work with project to ensure interfaces and web service accuracy.
- Perform testing for application changes, data conversions, migration results, and more.
- Assist other technical project resources as needed.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related experience (Master’s degree is a plus).
- A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Java/J2EE Application Development
- Demonstrated experience with Java Web services (REST, RESTful, SOAP)
- Experience with relational databases including transaction management, tuning and scalability, JDBC, Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with threading, synchronization, and concurrent programming concepts
- Experience with JSON, HTML/HTML5, Ajax, and JavaScript
- Experience with AWS and Azure required
- Experience with Bootstrap and AngularJS is a big plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organization practices and techniques.
