Must have:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, math, or other science discipline - At least 1 year of experience in software development (internship experience accepted) - Familiarity with National Instruments hardware (cDAQ, cRIO, PXI) and software (LabVIEW) - Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar - Experience in architecting, managing, and integrating extensive distributed systems - Strong communication and mentorship abilities with experience in technical leadership - Ability to collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements - Knowledge of network communication - Proficient in debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing - Creative problem-solving skills - Adaptable to dynamic environments with changing needs - Capability to work both independently and collaboratively, with effective communication - Availability to complete all work on-site, no remote options available - Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and shifts based on operational needs
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software and systems for data acquisition and control on test stands - Manage data storage and analysis tasks - Automate engineering and business processes - Collaborate with electrical engineers, test engineers, and IT professionals to create computing and network solutions for testing - Provide support for ongoing operations when software challenges arise - Oversee all facets of software development, including design, testing, and integration with test stands - Offer strong technical guidance and promote continuous improvement and training within the team
