Software Engineer - Java & Python

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field - Expert proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VBScript, C++ - Strong skills in designing, testing, and maintaining software - Familiarity with Git, Linux, and other frameworks - Advanced knowledge of data structures and scalable algorithms - Quick adaptability to new technologies - Exceptional problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and prioritize software requirements of users - Design, test, and develop software solutions to meet user needs - Recommend enhancements for existing systems and applications - Develop components of software that integrate seamlessly into the overall program - Create diagrams, flowcharts, and models to illustrate coding requirements for developers - Ensure the continued operation of applications during maintenance and software testing - Document each aspect of systems or applications for future upgrades and maintenance - Revisit the development process to resolve bugs or address client concerns - Maintain IT security measures - Meet weekly with leadership to discuss the customization timeline - Implement customizations on a test platform before live deployment - Write comprehensive manuals for each customization, detailing issues addressed and coding logic - Train team members on each customization - Communicate project updates clearly and effectively - Manage software used in daily operations, including user permissions and workflow setups - Suggest improvements for managements software and workflow processes - Propose website enhancements that could boost customer experience and sales - Assist management in data organization and access - Provide support for administrative staff concerning software queries
