In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing complex software applications aligned with business requirements. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that support our strategic objectives.

The Lead Software

Engineer will standardize quality assurance procedures, oversee testing and debugging processes, and develop effective fixes for software issues. This position involves working on problems of diverse scope and complexity, often requiring independent judgment and decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, infrastructure, and product management, to build resilient, scalable, and innovative cloud-based solutions. Additionally, you will leverage AI tools to accelerate development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

• *Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development on cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework 7+, .NET Core, and Python.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, APIs, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Strong background in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using microservices architecture and the Chassis framework.
• Experience with API management tools like Apigee for building, securing, and monitoring APIs.
• Hands-on expertise with Git, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for contributing to continuous organizational improvement and consumer experience enhancement.
• *Responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic vision.
• Participate in and review project plans, solution designs, and critical artifacts to guide the delivery of complex, custom solutions.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements during project review meetings to ensure accurate understanding and alignment.
• Develop detailed low-level designs and contribute to the overall solution architecture.
• Engage in daily agile stand-up meetings with stakeholders and development teams, providing progress updates and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure groups, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Partner with internal architecture and enterprise teams to ensure a resilient, state-of-the-art cloud environment for enterprise applications.
• Develop and deliver proofs-of-concept (POCs) and sample implementations to promote adoption within agile teams.
• Work closely with senior leadership to influence project timelines, strategic direction, and deliverables.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate code scaffolding, testing automation, migrations, and documentation processes.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures, oversee testing, debugging, and develop fixes for software issues.
