Requirements
Must have:
- Were looking for 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- We need strong C# / .NET skills, since this is the center of the role.
- We want working proficiency in Python, ideally in an ML or data environment such as PyTorch or data pipelines, or a strong history of quickly learning a second language.
- We expect solid experience with relational databases and comfort working with NoSQL document stores.
- We require experience with REST APIs, Git, and Docker.
- We value a strong preference for maintainable, well-tested code.
- We need someone who can read an existing codebase and work within its conventions rather than rewriting it.
- We require availability to work on-site in Dallas full-time.
- We strongly prefer a U.S. citizen or green card holder because our work supports government clients.
Responsibilities:
- We will have you build and maintain backend services in C# / .NET 8 within a microservices monorepo.
- We will have you develop and support ML inference and training pipelines in Python.
- We expect you to write unit and integration tests as a standard part of every change.
- We will have you work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, as well as messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, MQTT, and Azure Service Bus.
- We will have you containerize and deploy services with Docker on Azure.
- We will have you investigate issues across services using logs and distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry.

Our platform converts camera and sensor data into real-time, auditable inventory intelligence, and it is already deployed in live DoD logistics operations rather than remaining a demo. We are a small, senior team of fewer than a dozen people, so the work you deliver goes straight into production and has immediate impact. This is a full-time, on-site role in Dallas with a salary range of $80,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and fit, and we offer stock options for strong long-term fits.
