About The Role As a compliance-focused Software Engineer at Rain, you will be at the forefront of integrating compliance into our core products and infrastructure.
Your role involves designing and developing internal tools for our compliance team, collaborating with the issuing team to embed compliance processes into existing systems, and leveraging our data platform to prepare for audits. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet regulatory standards and uphold the highest levels of precision and security. The ideal candidate is someone who values compliance as a fundamental aspect of product development and is adept at creating scalable, reliable solutions that support our rapid growth.
Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver secure, compliant, and innovative payment solutions on a global scale.
Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
Proficiency in Node.js and backend systems development
Strong understanding of compliance standards and regulations
Experience in building internal tooling and automation for compliance processes
Familiarity with data management and audit preparation
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities Lead the development of compliance engineering strategies and solutions
Build scalable tools and services to enhance KYC/KYB/TM pipelines
Centralize and future-proof the company's compliance data strategy
Iteratively ship high-quality, reliable code to support compliance initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into product workflows
Assist in audit preparations and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
