Software Engineer - Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with extensive experience in data analysis, data modeling, API design, and performance optimization. - Skilled in developing and managing batch processes using ETL/Informatica and Autosys. - Knowledgeable about core design principles for scalable applications. - Familiar with ATDD practices and automated testing for database solutions. - Experience with cloud data technologies, preferably Snowflake and S3. - Committed to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Understanding of mid-tier technologies such as Java, messaging systems, and web containers, including data interaction patterns. - Experienced in Agile methodologies with CI/CD tools and practices. - Capable of converting storyboards and use cases into practical applications with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the design and development of software solutions that align with both functional and non-functional program requirements. - Lead application design initiatives and actively participate in design and code reviews. - Create and sustain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL components, focusing on data analysis, modeling, data APIs, and performance enhancements. - Develop and maintain batch processes utilizing ETL/Informatica and Autosys. - Participate in product quality assurance planning, including test case design and regression testing with an emphasis on automation. - Advocate for and contribute to engineering practices in ATDD and CI/CD. - Collaborate with global development teams to encourage best practices in software engineering. - Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to empower fellow team members.
