About The Role

Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and operating innovative backend services and internal tools. Your work will directly empower our client success teams and enable our data science teams to fine-tune underwriting and fraud workflows for our customers. These workflows are critical to scaling our business, expanding our product offerings, and ensuring customer success.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions using TypeScript. Support, improve, and optimize existing backend services.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

Support and triage production incidents in real time.

Improve team efficiency and productivity by advising on process improvement ideas.

Skills

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript & Node.js.

Experience with RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and service oriented architecture.

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems.

Experience with version control systems.

Experience with testing frameworks.

Understanding of DevOps principles.

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
