Requirements

Must have:

- We require an active U.S. Government security clearance at the TS/SCI level with CI polygraph.
  • We require U.S. citizenship, and applicants must be eligible for consideration under U.S. Government clearance and export control requirements.
  • We look for a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • We need at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • We require experience in scientific programming or algorithm implementation.
  • We require strong programming proficiency in C++.
  • We expect experience using Git-based version control tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • We value familiarity with estimation methods such as Kalman filtering.
  • We prefer knowledge of orbital mechanics.
  • We value experience with Agile or other formal software development practices.
  • We prefer experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container platforms.

Responsibilities:

- We transform algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications that perform efficiently on large imagery and are suitable for operational deployment.
  • We apply disciplined software engineering practices to create high-quality, extensible, and maintainable code packages.
  • We develop and enhance automated testing and verification utilities.
  • We troubleshoot, refactor, and port existing codebases to new systems and platforms.
  • We contribute throughout the full development lifecycle, including planning, requirements definition, design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Program of Record missile warning system, which operates around the clock in redundant operational environments and fuses data from Department of Defense and Intelligence OPIR sensors to produce 3D missile tracks for tactical and strategic warning.

The starting salary range for this role is $92,000 to $195,000 annually, depending on qualifications, experience, work location, and market conditions.
