Solution Developer - TLM Cloud Support Competitive salary + excellent benefits
Location: Jacksonville, Florida ( 5 days from office and shifts ranging from 12-8 or 1-9PM EST), Weekend and holiday shifts will be required on a rotating basis. Additionally, working from the office (clean room) is mandatory when handling client production environments. We are seeking a Solution Developer - TLM Cloud Support to manage and support technical support operations for mission-critical systems.
This role requires a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand the product and support the client. You will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, resolving complex production issues, and driving continuous improvement in support processes.
The Support Software
Engineer must have basic understanding of required technical skills to perform the project related activities and provide expected delivery at stipulated timelines.
Excellent communication skills are a must for this position. The individual must have strong experience in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix and AWS and incident management and ticketing systems.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and management.
- Experienced in using incident and ticket management tools to support and track issue resolution workflows.
- Foundational understanding of the Smartstream TLM product suite, including all components, ETL processes, and support functions.
- Solid grasp of Unix, SQL, and core concepts within the investment banking domain.
- Proven experience in production support roles, with a track record of managing critical incidents.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adopt emerging technologies and evolving business processes.
- Ability to interpret and analyze technical requirements and related documentation.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving issues related to environments, data integrity, and operational workflows.
- Consistently provides timely updates to functional managers and team leads on progress and issue resolution.
- High learning agility and a strong drive to deliver results.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Lead the resolution of complex, high-impact technical issues in live production environments.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy system fixes and enhancements.
- Build and maintain automation tools to optimize support workflows and reduce manual intervention.
- Fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation for troubleshooting procedures and known issues.
- Take ownership of on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts with a focus on minimizing downtime.
- Ensure adherence to operational standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as a key liaison between support, development, and client-facing teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution. Key skills:
- Expertise in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, and AWS(cloud).
- Expertise in middleware(Wildfly, MQ), Kubernetes, Docker, Spring boot, and Airflow and RDBMS (Oracle)
- Proficiency in shell scripting and programming (Python or Java preferred) and ability to write SQL queries.
- Deep understanding of incident management and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure environments.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- High adaptability and eagerness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

Previously worked in L2/L3 role production support,Jira, ticketing tools, Cloud(AWS), Airflow, Docker, Middleware , spring boot, RDBMS (Oracle)-SQL,stored proc, joins, analysis
