Requirements
Must have:
- Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases, including knowledge of normalization concepts - Proven experience utilizing Tableau for data visualization and reporting - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills - Strong written and verbal communication abilities - Capacity to work independently on complex and ambiguous issues - Experience with ad hoc queries and exploratory data analysis - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook - Strong planning, organization, and time management skills - Experience with Python for data analysis or automation (preferred) - Familiarity with big data tools such as Hive or Spark (preferred) - Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS (preferred) - Understanding of version control tools like Git (preferred) - Exposure to SDLC processes or development of data pipelines (preferred) - Experience with additional reporting/analysis tools, including Kibana or advanced Excel (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute ad hoc data analysis to support strategic business objectives - Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports - Compose complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze extensive datasets - Translate business inquiries into analytical frameworks and actionable insights - Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp requirements and deliver data solutions - Clearly communicate findings through written reports and presentations - Support data validation, quality assurance checks, and reconciliation tasks - Contribute to ongoing analytics projects, including large-scale data integrations
