Senior Developer

A senior, hands‑on developer responsible for designing and delivering AI/LLM solutions, Databricks workloads, and cloud‑native microservices. The role requires deep expertise in Python, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and modern LLM technologies—including Copilot agentic mode—and the ability to independently own end‑to‑end delivery.

Key Responsibilities

AI, LLMs & Copilot Agentic Mode

• Build LLM‑powered copilots, intelligent assistants, and automation agents.

• Implement agentic workflows: tool calling, planning, multi‑step reasoning.

• Develop prompts, system instructions, and enterprise guardrails.

• Integrate LLMs with Databricks, data lakes, and microservices.

• Build RAG pipelines and evaluate/fine‑tune LLMs for accuracy, cost, and performance.

Microservices & Application Development

• Develop Python‑based microservices and REST APIs (FastAPI/Flask).

• Expose data and AI inference services securely and at scale.

• Own design‑to‑deployment delivery with minimal oversight.

Azure Databricks & Data Engineering

• Build and manage Databricks jobs, workflows, and notebooks.

• Develop reusable PySpark/Python scripts for ingestion, ETL, and analytics.

• Implement Delta Lake architectures with ACID and versioning.

• Optimize Databricks workloads and build batch/streaming pipelines.

Architecture, Governance & Best Practices

• Contribute to solution architecture and design decisions.

• Ensure security, governance, monitoring, and observability.

• Perform code reviews and enforce engineering standards.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor junior developers and collaborate across data, AI, DevOps, and business teams.

• Communicate clearly and take full ownership of workstreams.

Required Skills

• LLMs (Azure OpenAI/OpenAI), Copilot agentic workflows

• Prompt engineering, LangChain/Semantic Kernel

• RAG, vector databases, embeddings

• Python (advanced), PySpark, Spark SQL

• REST APIs, microservices (FastAPI/Flask)

• Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, ADLS Gen2

• Azure cloud fundamentals, CI/CD, Git, Docker

• Terraform/Bicep (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• 14+ years IT experience; 5+ years Python/data engineering/backend

• Proven production AI/LLM delivery

• Enterprise cloud experience

• Kafka/Event Hubs exposure (preferred)
