About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead system architecture, drive technical strategy, and mentor engineering teams while building highly scalable, secure enterprise applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of secure, scalable, high-performance applications on AWS

• Define technical strategy, engineering best practices, and development standards

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor engineers across teams

• Partner with Product, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders

• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security in cloud environments

• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance the AWS-based platform

Technology Stack

• Frontend: React, JavaScript, TypeScript

• Backend: Node.js, NestJS, Express.js

• Databases: MongoDB, SQL

• APIs: GraphQL, REST

• Messaging & Caching: Kafka, Redis

• Testing: Jest, Test-Driven Development (TDD)

• Cloud & DevOps: AWS , CI/CD, cloud-native services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 7

• years of professional software development experience

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js • Experience designing and deploying applications on AWS

• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, Kafka, and Redis

• Strong understanding of software architecture, security, and performance optimization

• Proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams
