8 years of Java experience

Java Web developer with Hibernate Spring, EJB, Struts, JavaScript, Webservices.

Knowledge / exposure to COBOL, mainframe system is desired.

Job Responsibilities

Duties include providing high-quality solutions by designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining programs. Other responsibilities include developing and modifying moderately complex information systems involving most phases of systems analysis and programming.

Analyze, design, code, test and document programs and enhancements.

Assist with defining and meeting business requirements

Prepare detailed software specifications

Provide program and system level estimates

Conduct code walkthroughs to assure quality of programs developed by other associates

Provide system support, including on-call pager rotation

Mentor less-experienced programmer analysts.

Job Requirements

Open System development skills such as Java, J2EE, JSP, Javascript, HTML, and XML are required

Must have experience with web application interface

Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related field A minimum of five (7) years of development experience along with good analysis and trouble-shooting skills are required.
