Senior Engineer with Java and Strong experience in Linux/Unix and shell scripting (powershell)

Skills:

1. 10+ years experience in infrastructure, system and software engineering
2. Strong experience in Linux/Unix and shell scripting (powershell)
3. Good understanding of microservice lifecycle management (design, integration, testing, deployment)
4. Strong experience in following tools: App Dynamics, Splunk
5. Intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker
6. Work experience in Linux Migration Projects (Preferable from Redhat 7 to 8)
7. Full stack software engineering experience in Python, Java, SQL, NoSQL
8. PCF, Azure experience

JD:

1. Experience managing and troubleshooting applications in environments with a mix of Java/J2EE, Rest APIs, Python, Perl
2. In-depth understanding of database systems, experience handling Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL
3. Familiarity with cloud environments: PCF, Azure
4. Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning tools to optimize workloads in RHEL8
5. Good understanding of storage, networking and security protocols in Unix/Linux systems
6. DevOps experience (CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, Docker)
7. Excellent problem-solving skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, quickly diagnose and resolve system issues
9. Design, code, test, debug for projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments
10. Review moderately complex technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
11. Design and implement orchestration, tooling solutions to ensure repetitive administrative tasks are performed in an automated, high level of efficiency, and good quality
12. Working experience in Release and deployment management, platform/production support projects
