Sr. Python AWS Developer (Lambda / Java/ Kafka) W2 only

Role: Sr. Python AWS Developer (Lambda / Java/ Kafka)

6+ Month Contract

Location: Remote ( CST/EST only ; local candidates preferred, NO PST )

Interview: Phone then video interview

• 6+ years of work experience with Python (Programming Language)
• 6+ years of work experience with AWS Lambda
• 6+ years of work experience with Java

We are looking more for candidates coming for a java dev background then into AWS / Heavy python serverless lambda experience from scratch.

There will be some building of the pipelines devops, but that is just a piece of the role.

They will have java legacy application to maintain while the new code will be python .

Required Qualifications:

• Must be hands-on in development process
• Strong cloud-native background
• AWS Lambda (Python)
• Kafka
• System design understanding
• API Gateway
• Java background and has transitioned to AWS/Python/serverless
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders
• Strong experience with Terraform
