Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Flask and FastAPI frameworks to join our team in Whippany, NJ on a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications using Flask and FastAPI.
• Build and maintain high-performance REST APIs and microservices.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and development teams.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Flask and FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab version control systems.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
