The role involves translating customer and marketing requirements into robust technical specifications, developing and maintaining software solutions, and ensuring cybersecurity and encryption standards are met. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team environment, leveraging full-stack development skills across multiple programming languages and frameworks, including C#, Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing software applications to support the company’s mission of delivering safe and effective healthcare products. The position operates under a hybrid working model, with a schedule that includes five days a week, working primarily from the Allentown, Pennsylvania office, with flexibility for remote work as needed.
Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant industry experience is required, demonstrating a strong background in software development, particularly in full-stack environments. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of business practices within the healthcare or related sectors, along with proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
Experience with Windows server environments and cybersecurity techniques is essential. The role also demands excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates must be willing to travel occasionally for business purposes and adhere to confidentiality agreements, including non-compete and secrecy clauses.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer and marketing requirements into detailed technical specifications to guide development efforts.
- Design, develop, and implement full-stack software solutions using languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and improve current software systems, incorporating new features and security enhancements.
- Collaborate with testing teams to develop comprehensive verification and validation plans, ensuring software quality and compliance.
- Implement and adhere to encryption and cybersecurity standards to protect sensitive data and ensure system integrity.
- Understand and support Windows server environments, facilitating deployment and maintenance of software solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning within the team.
