Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Digital Identity & Onboarding engineering team within Cat Digital. This role will play a critical hands‑on engineering leadership role across multiple mission‑critical applications that form the foundation of Caterpillar’s digital ecosystem, including customer onboarding, digital application governance, and unified user identity management.

The engineer will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, customer‑facing web and API platforms that support global customers, dealers, and internal digital applications.

What You Will Do:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead all stages of software development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, project planning, software system design, coding, testing, release, deployment, and support.
