Job Title: Talend Developer

Location : Austin, TX.

Full Time (Permanent)

Qualification

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred

• At least 2 years of experience with DW/BI and ETL tools.
• Must have experience on gathering technical requirements and specifications to determine appropriate ETL solutions and architecture
• At least 2 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Talend Projects - MUST.
• Past experience with AbInitio ETL Tool - MUST
• At least 2 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environment and scripting
• Experience in conducting code reviews and providing guidance to development team
• Experience with multiple major RDBM systems, i.e., DB2, Oracle
• Strong Knowledge of Dimensional Modelling, DW architecture, ETL Frameworks, Design and Development using Talend, Best Practices and Troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of Talend Data Integration tool.
• Exposure to Other Talend Product Suites.
• Experience with Core Java development is a plus
• Experience with Hadoop and big data technology is a plus
• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts
• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience in Finance domain
• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to ramp up in new technologies
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
