Aaron McGarvey

I recently graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing, earning Summa Cum Laude honors while completing my degree in just three years. Throughout college, I balanced academics with full-time work, leadership opportunities, athletics, and active involvement in Rowan's entrepreneurship ecosystem, experiences that strengthened my work ethic and passion for business.

Entrepreneurship has always been more than a major to me. I enjoy solving problems, building relationships, generating new ideas, and creating value for others. Through entrepreneurship programs, venture competitions, scholarships, and networking opportunities, I developed an entrepreneurial mindset that continues to shape how I approach challenges and opportunities.

Beyond the classroom, I've built my career in customer-facing roles where I've learned the importance of communication, teamwork, adaptability, and delivering exceptional experiences. Leadership experiences through DECA and Rowan Club Hockey have further strengthened my ability to connect with others, mentor peers, and contribute to a positive team culture.

I'm always looking for opportunities to learn, take on new challenges, and make a meaningful impact. My long-term goal is to continue growing as a business professional while gaining the experience needed to one day build and lead businesses of my own.

Operate across front- and back-of-house roles in a high-volume restaurant, contributing to efficient daily operations and consistent service quality

• Demonstrate strong adaptability by transitioning between roles as needed, supporting team efficiency and minimizing service disruptions

• Coordinate operational flow between front-of-house and kitchen staff to support efficient service execution during peak business hours

Tony Voce Memorial Foundation – Volunteer Coach and Representative 2024 – present

• Support the foundation’s mission of making hockey more accessible and affordable for youth by contributing to mentorship, development opportunities, and community engagement initiatives
• Volunteer as a coach and actively represent the foundation through participation in events, including the annual Tony Voce Memorial Game and other foundation-led programs
