Abigail O'Neel

Abigail is a skilled writer and mindful storyteller with a passion for serving churches and nonprofits. Her thoughtful, reflective writing style blends theological insight with practical, everyday application. Through a conversational yet reverent tone, she makes complex theological concepts accessible and meaningful to all readers.

While on staff at Champion Forest, Abigail spearheaded the launch of the church’s Articles page and provided editorial leadership for Bible reading plans, devotionals, and discipleship materials. Her advanced theological training includes a Master’s of Theology and a Master’s of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Abigail’s ministry experience spans communications, teaching at a local Christian school, and managing a Crisis Pregnancy Center. In every role, she has found deep joy in equipping the Church and supporting nonprofits in their mission to impact their communities.

Abigail is married to Caleb, a worship pastor, and together they have served in ministry for over a decade. Most recently, Caleb served as a campus worship pastor at Champion Forest. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Abigail and Caleb have been married for seven years and share a heart for building God’s kingdom.

I have advanced theological training, including a Master’s of Theology and a Master’s of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. My ThM thesis is entitled “Sociality and Siblingship: The Necessity and Benefits of Other-Gendered Relationships.”
