Adam Butzen

I'm currently in my junior year at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. I'm a hard-working student and have attained the Dean's List the past two semesters. I’m also a member of the Ultimate Frisbee Club team and the Academic Chair and Secretary for the Phi Sigma Fraternity.

I have completed my SolidWorks, Statics, Applications of Electrical Engineering, Engineering Economy, Intro to Computational Methods, Principles of safety and risk management, and engineering materials. I'm currently taking Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Mechanisms of Machines, Mechanical Vibrations, and Manufacturing Processes. I’m creative, have a strong work ethic, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

I look forward to expanding my knowledge and gaining real world experience with a summer internship in the engineering field.

I have work experience across manufacturing, assembly, and customer service roles. At Belmark, I supported press operations by managing ink application tools, transporting materials, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow in a manufacturing setting.

At Pella

Windows & Doors of Wisconsin, I have prepared and disassembled window and door components, addressed order issues, and maintained a clean wood and paint shop environment. Additionally, I gained experience at Happy Joe’s Pizza, where I supported kitchen operations and upheld cleanliness standards.

I'm currently a student at University of Wisconsin-Platteville. I am a Junior Mechanical Engineering student.
