My name is Alejandro, and I am a Sophomore Computer Science major at NJIT. I am involved in the SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) chapter at NJIT. Through SHPE, I have been able to connect and collaborate with motivated, like-minded individuals in the Hispanic community. I am eager to turn the skills I learned at NJIT into valuable experience that I can take with me throughout my professional career.
I am passionate about learning more about how innovations in technology can solve real-world problems, especially in Quantitative Analysis, Software Engineering, and Finance.
Between September 2024 and May 2025, I worked as a Private Academic Tutor at Eye Level Tutoring in Livingston, New Jersey. There, I developed individualized lesson plans, helped students raise their test scores, and developed a close bond between tutor and student.
Second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ — Expected May 2028. I currently hold a 3.8 GPA and Dean’s List recognition each semester.
