Alekhya Meduri

I have had the privilege of working with numerous clients on their mental health. I led my own advice column for over a year, where I worked with forty individuals on a range of topics encompassing internal conflicts to external, and I have been trained by the Suicide Prevention Service of the Central Coast on techniques to support individuals undergoing suicidal and non-suicidal crises. I have also obtained my CNA Certification, started my own life coach business, and I am a student at the David Key Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner/Life Coach Certification Program.

I also have a passion for bioengineering, and I am currently working part-time at a UCSF Pharmaco-genomics Lab. I aspire to pursue a career that applies gene therapy research to neuropsychology, so I intend to work as a Clinical Neuropsychologist, and apply my findings towards gene therapy research to cure neurological diseases.

I led my own advice column on Instagram for over a year, called Unveil, where I worked with forty individuals on a range of topics including:

• Breaking childhood trauma
• Likeability and Social Integration
• Kindness and Reciprocity
• Understanding Differences in Personality
• Respect and Dating
• Rejection
• Laziness and Motivation
• How to deal with loneliness
• Focus and Discipline
• Making friends
• New Year's Resolutions
• Depression and Family Dynamics

I recently obtained my CNA Certification, started my own Life Coach business, and I am currently a student at the David Key Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner/Life Coach Certification Program.

I just received my Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience from UC Santa Cruz!
