I am a bioinformatician proficient in Rshiny and Python. I hold dual Master's degrees from the University of Toledo and the Ohio State University respectively. My work primarily revolves around the visualization and analysis of proteomics data, however, I have knowledge of other types of omics data during my studies.
I have worked for five years in medical records at the Toledo Clinic where I learned how healthcare informatics works. I have also worked on several research projects at the University of Toledo and The Ohio State University during both my undergraduate and graduate studies. These projects were a diverse array of tasks within the field of proteomics that culminated in several different data visualization tools.
I have a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Toledo where I learned the principles of cellular biology and wet lab chemistry. Following this, I obtained a Master's degree in bioinformatics from the university of Toledo where I learned the principles of RNAseq, genomic analysis, R/Python, and software version control. Following this, I obtained a second masters in biomedical science from the Ohio State University to further refine my skillset.
Here, I worked in proteomics, with a focus on mass spectrometry data and Java.
