I am a passionate and experienced writer who, over the past decade, has published hundreds of articles in various media, genres, and outlets. Most recently, I have been an entertainment news reporters for the site Looper.com, which assigns a high output of articles (several a week) on quick turnaround. Success at this job has also required quick and thorough research skills, as well as searching out creative angles to take on a given topic.

In 2022, I completed my first book, Shake The City: Experiments in Space and Time, Music and Crisis, which was published by 1968 Press. In 2020, I was a fellow at the Los Angeles Review of Books Publishing Workshop.

For seven years I was a founder and editor-in-chief Red Wedge, an arts and culture magazine. I am currently working on my first novel. My work has also appeared in Los Angeles Review of Books, Salvage, Jacobin, Popula, and several other outlets.

Wrote short publicity articles introducing readers to various public personalities so that they might expand their brand. Subjects included real estate agents, DJs, actors, chefs, and Instagram influencers. Samples available upon request.

Shake the City, author, 2022

I am the author of the non-fiction book Shake the City: Experiments In Space and Time, Music and Crisis, published in November of 2022 by 1968 Press. I submitted a polished draft for this 120-plus page book within six months of signed contract, indicating an ability to submit assignments in a timely manner.

Red Wedge, Founding Editor, Editor-In-Chief 2012 – 2019 

Red Wedge was for seven years the only English-language publication that endeavored to cover all of the creative arts from a left-wing perspective. On top of founding it, I led discussions about themes for print issues, oversaw design, and, of course, vetted and edited submissions. I also arranged for us to have a significant presence at several conferences.
