1. Nalcor’s 230 kV DC link between Labrador and Newfoundland: programmed and tested approximately 250 protection relays at five transmission substations. Most relays were: SEL-411L, SEL-487E, SEL-487B, P546, P643, P746, P841, P143, REB-670, CPR04
2. Managed a few smaller projects with diverse GE relays: 845, 889, 850, B30, B90, T60, G60, C60 etc.

Electrical Design Engineer

1. Prepared SCADA network block diagrams, panel layout, one-line diagram, AC 3-line diagrams, DC diagram, panel wiring diagrams for BC Hydro (AMEC’s primary client).
2. Prepared AC and DC point lists for SCADA alarms PLCs and SDCs. 
3. Prepared safety risk assessment for panel installation work. Led safety seminars.

1. New 230 kV substation of BC Hydro in Surrey area. Included SEL-411L, SEL-321, SEL-587Z, SEL-487E, SEL-487B. 

Protection and Control Engineer

1. Calculated settings and coordination studies for line, bus, transformer, feeder protection for Quanta’s clients: AltaLink, ATCO Electric, Nexen, TransAlta. 
2. Selected equipment specifications and completed purchase orders. 
3. Modeled system in ASPEN One Liner. Relays of GE, SEL, ABB, Siemens.

Protection and Control Engineer

1. Designed protection (DC, AC three- and single-line drawings), control and metering systems, panel layouts for electrical substations of 15 to 240 kV in the city of Edmonton area.
2. Led site testing and commissioning; design team of technologists, co-ops, and EITs. Modeled in ETAP.
3. Supported procurement and sourcing for vendor quotations. Areva, GE, ABB, SEL, Siemens relays.

Planning Technologist

1. Created power system models in PSS/ADEPT and CYME Dist; verified accuracy for 25 and 7.2 kV lines.
2. Coordinated fuses (Kearney, Bay-O-Net), reclosers (ABB, Cooper, Hubbell), Elastimold MVI, Westinghouse and Schweitzer protective relays.
3. Conducted flow analysis, fault analysis. Made proposals on load addition, upgrade, motors VFD.

Protection, Control and Automation Engineer

1. Provided settings for protective relays in 110 kV network.
2. Designed AC, DC diagrams for 110/35/10 kV substations in AutoCAD. Provided site commissioning.
