Based in San Diego, CA, and I am seeking a Quality Engineer position in the biotech industry. My extensive background spans management, electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, robotics, inspection, repair, and research and development, all of which equip me with the skills necessary to excel in quality engineering roles. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Business Administration, which I expect to complete in 2025.
In my current role as a Maintenance Technician at Copan Diagnostics, I am responsible for the preventive and extraordinary maintenance of critical biotech production equipment. My previous experience as a Senior Maintenance Technician at GenMark Diagnostics involved troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and driving process improvements, all while ensuring the highest quality standards.
My career has also included positions such as Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, and Biomed Tech II, where I gained valuable experience in equipment repair, validation, and technical support. I am a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a Medical Equipment Repair Sergeant and Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist, which further developed my attention to detail and commitment to quality.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Devry University and have specialized training in biomedical equipment repair. With a strong foundation in quality assurance and continuous improvement, I am eager to contribute my expertise to a leading biotech company as a Quality Engineer.
