Hello,
I'm looking to immerse myself in the culture at a local university. I hope to have the opportunity to share some of my experience and hear how they may fit your needs.
I've garnered quite a bit of valuable experience and skills, many of which are likely clear when reviewing the positions I've held. What isn't on paper is the core of what makes me an excellent team member and asset.
Beyond the ink, my strengths include a stellar work ethic, solution-focused, a refined set of communication tools, patience, being kind and polite in any situation and an insatiable love of learning.
I began a career in Sales with Nordstrom and Lilly Pulitzer where I gained valuable, top-tier customer service skills.
A serious family illness shifted my life goals and I focused on volunteering. That evolved into development positions for non-profits at the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County followed by the Boy Scouts of America.
The culmination of what I learned led me to the field of substance use disorders. That is where I've focused all of my passion for several years. It was meaningful, I loved my colleagues and working directly with clients at different stages of change.
Loss is a brutal reality of the industry and I recently chose to step away, permanently.
Ideally, I'd like to work in an environment that cultivates and celebrates the creative arts.
