Alexis Ortiz

My name is Alexis Ortiz, I am currently a senior at Texas Tech University. I currently work at HEB grocery store as a bartender. That being said, I am very knowledgeable in regards to they types of liquors , TABC laws, the amount of liquor served, beers and, much more. ai have a bartender for over a year and have enjoyed every minute of it.

I am able to multi task, have a service mentality In terms of speaking with customers, upselling and making their experience an amazing one. Although I still work at HEB I’d like to earn some extra money towards my education as a physical therapist.

I have worked for HEB for over three years, 1 and a half being as a cashier In San Antonio and then transitioned to a bartender in Lubbock. although it has been a short time I am very knowledgeable able my products such as liquor, beer and wine. Also I am TABC certified with knowledge of their laws.

I received my associates degree in 2021 from Palo Alto College and transferred to Texas Tech the following semester. I am a senior working on my undergrad for kinesiology with hopes to go to TTHSC to continue my education as a Physical therapist.
