I have 5 years of experience in law enforcement. In the correctional setting I oversaw daily operations and schedules of the facility and wrote daily activity reports regarding supervision of detainees in America’s largest single site jail. As a police officer I had been actively been involved in multiple jurisdictions that the Metra rail lines covered. As a police officer I enhanced communication with members of the community to create a better understanding of police functions, purpose, and goals within the community, to determine community needs, and assisted in resolutions of community social problems.
I have over 15 years of claims experience. I have managed various claims: environmental, medical malpractice, premise, automobile, commercial, property and general liability claims. I worked with very limited oversight, typically managing an expense budget over $12M and settlement authority over $6M. My caseload would typically have over 100 claims (50% litigated) and I would bring them to a timely and reasonable resolution by maintaining compliance within company guidelines and excellent customer service.
