Alicia Barber

I am a focused college student (3.0 GPA, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Clinical Medical Assisting) currently attending West Georgia Technical College. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 10 years of work experience. I had the privilege of working for Bremen Health Clinic in a phlebotomist role in my free time, where I learned valuable professional skills such as customer service, scheduling and back office operations.

In both my academic and professional life, I have been consistently praised as proactive by my professors and peers. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven communication, creative thinking and organizational skills.

I recently worked for a company where I was able to grow in my skills while learning under two amazing women. One was a paramedic and the other was our NP to the clinic. I was at the medical clinic for 6 years able to perform different skills. I was able to Draw blood, Administer IVs, Pull certain Meds, etc.

I went to West Ga Technical College to further my education in the medical field.
