I recently graduated from Illinois State University in May 2024 as a Business Administration Major with a study in Business Environment & Sustainability. I am currently looking for a new job opportunity to expand my knowledge of life in every aspect. I enjoy learning new things so I can be as versatile as possible.
My most recent Job at Artico Cold Storage (July ‘24 - Feb ’25) was a full-time position working with the Inventory Control, Operations and Client Relations teams. I aided in processing the current, incoming and past inventory within the warehouse which included a multitude of tasks such as handling damage control for internal/external inventory, client inventory reconciliation, EDI order testing, item creation, QA/QC & claims tracking, etc. I also participated in the creation of new SOPs to further development of internal processes in all areas.
As the Inventory Control Supervisor, I managed a team of 2-3 warehouse operators who I helped to learn our warehouse management system (Blue Yonder) so they too could help resolve inventory issues when needed. They were given daily tasks to aid all areas of the Warehouse to balance the needs of internal teams as well as clients.
I worked not only with the inventory personnel but with all the branches of our company to help with the flow of internal and external operations. Within our Client Relations and Operations teams, I helped with client related requests like coordinating on-time order fulfilment, contacting clients regarding order/inventory reconciliation, internal quality analysis and internal inventory cycle counts. I also coordinated with the Exports Team to ensure proper USDA preparations, repacking of product, on-time order completion, inventory cycle count verification & quality analysis.
I also held and internship position here prior to starting as an employee (May ‘23-Dec ’23). I worked full-time with the inventory control team as an assistant manager/supervisor. I worked closely with the operations team to learn the internal processes and the new warehouse management and logistics system they had installed called Blue Yonder.
I helped manage a team of 3-4 warehouse operators and worked directly with customers to resolve inventory issues and complete their requests for cycle counts, quality checks & coordinate on-time order fulfilment.
Towards the end of my internship, I was able to successfully manage the team and complete the tasks left by my supervisor, giving me more experience on how to solve issues on my own without direct assistance or asking for help from my management team.
I have also worked a Waitressing job at the Original Hooters for 3 years where I developed much of my customer service skills and learned how to handle high stress situations with a smile. Not only did this help me professionally but it also allowed me to further develop my personal social skills and mindset.
I attended Illinois State University in Normal, IL for 4 years (2020-2024). I graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a focus in Business Environment & Sustainability.
