I am a dedicated sophomore at Sacred Heart University, pursuing a major in Health Science Nutrition with a Pre-Physician Assistant track and a minor in Biology. Passionate about health, fitness, and wellness, I am currently a gymnastics coach, helping young athletes develop strength, discipline, and confidence. Additionally, I am working towards obtaining my Personal Training and Nutrition Coach certifications to further expand my expertise in fitness and nutrition. With a goal of becoming a Physician Assistant specializing in Sports Medicine and Pediatrics, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in environments that promote both physical health and pediatric care.
I have nearly a year of experience as a gymnastics coach at Next Dimensions in Trumbull, CT, where I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills while helping athletes improve their performance. I also worked as a waitress for a year and a half at Prime 16 in New Haven, CT, where I honed my customer service, multitasking, and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, I spent a summer as a junior service volunteer at Stamford Hospital, gaining valuable exposure to the healthcare industry and assisting with various tasks to support patient care and hospital operations.
I am currently a sophomore at Sacred Heart University, majoring in Health Science Nutrition with a Pre-Physician Assistant track and minoring in Biology. This academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in the sciences, nutrition, and healthcare principles, which I am eager to build upon as I pursue my career goals. My coursework and hands-on experiences are helping me develop the skills necessary to work in the healthcare and wellness industries, with a particular focus on sports medicine and pediatrics.
