Resilience, curiosity, and an unwavering drive to grow, these qualities have shaped my journey and continue to define my ambitions. As the oldest child in a household balancing love and hardship, I often took on responsibilities beyond my years, caring for my younger brothers, managing household tasks, and teaching myself when my family's struggles left me on my own for schoolwork. This independence and work ethic propelled me academically, ultimately earning me the title of Salutatorian at Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics and a place at Smith College.

My growth has extended far beyond academics, and I approach every challenge with patience, persistence, and a desire to excel.

Supported healthcare delivery in underserved Panamanian communities through triage, patient intake, consultation flow, and teaching proper hygiene

Shadowed dentists and pharmacists, gaining exposure to clinical procedures, sterilizing instruments, prescription fulfillment, and medication usage; entered and managed patient data in electronic health records for future use and participated in daily group reflections on healthcare inequities
