I am a Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse. I have been doing this for the past 13 years. I have worked in all sorts of settings from acute care, trauma, operating rooms, outpatient and some hyperbaric.
I have a passion for helping and making wound care accessible to all and preventing harm. I believe I can make the most change from an administrative role by teaching others my passion and improving the quality-of-care delivery to patients. I love risk management from doing root cause analysis and preventing harm.
I have also started new programs on the path to accreditation for bariatric surgical programs. I love tracking data to put all the pieces together to tell the story of care and figuring out how to deliver cost-effective high-quality care.
