Amiah Jackson

Hello! My name is Amiah, and I'm currently a college student. I'm always striving to balance my academic responsibilities with personal growth. Being in college has taught me the importance of continuous learning and adaptability. In my free time, I enjoy music, movies, plants, reading, and being in choir, which help me stay balanced and motivated as I work towards my degree.

I have a diverse range of professional experience in customer service, childcare, and library management. As a Crew Member at DairyHaus in Rockton, IL, from May 2022 to March 2023, I prepared customized frozen products efficiently, provided excellent customer service, handled cash transactions, and managed inventory. At the YMCA in Rockton, IL, from August 2022 to May 2023, I communicated effectively with children and adults, applied first aid, and maintained a safe environment.

As a Library Assistant at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI, from August 2023 to May 2024, I managed library inventory, assisted with book check-ins and check-outs, and performed tasks such as book repairs and data entry. Lastly, as a Camp Counselor at Stateline Family YMCA in Beloit, WI, from May 2023 to August 2024, I led activities for campers, created educational programs, resolved conflicts, and fostered positive relationships with children. My experience has equipped me with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

I have obtained my high school diploma and am currently working towards my degree in undergraduate school.
