Operational Leadership & Production Management: Directed daily plant operations across production, materials, and logistics while collaborating closely with quality, safety, and engineering teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory performance targets and ensure strong production flow, equipment uptime, and resource alignment.
Chain, Materials & Logistics Management: Oversaw end‑to‑end materials operations by managing MRP, inventory accuracy, warehousing, shipping/receiving, and supplier performance; developing material plans aligned with production, lead times, and capacity; reducing premium freight and improving inventory turns; and ensuring accurate, uninterrupted material flow to support continuous production.
Safety & Environmental Compliance: Directed plant safety initiatives, audits, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations; supported corporate environmental policies and adherence to environmental procedures; and drove a strong "Safety First" culture through training, visual management, and continuous improvement.
Customer & Quality Requirements: Managed customer‑specific requirements by ensuring effective root‑cause analysis and corrective actions, serving as the escalation point for customer quality concerns with rapid containment and long‑term resolution, and controlling non‑conforming product to maintain compliance with internal quality procedures.
Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing: Led continuous improvement initiatives across production, materials, and logistics by implementing lean tools such as standardized work, visual management, 5S, and KPI‑driven problem solving; facilitating CI activities tied to safety, quality, delivery, and audit findings; and driving measurable improvements in machine utilization, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, and inventory accuracy.
Financial & KPI Management: Managed plant financial performance by overseeing budgets, cost drivers, labor planning; analyzing key KPIs (machine utilization, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency, scrap, safety, etc.); preparing month-end report and P&L variance analysis; identifying operations risks while implementing cost-saving and performance-improving initiatives.
Program Launch & Engineering Support: Supported new program launches through resource planning, phase‑gate reviews, and manufacturing readiness activities while collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and tooling teams to ensure equipment readiness and process capability, and proactively identifying and mitigating launch risks to meet timing, quality, and cost objectives.
People Leadership & Talent Development: Led and developed cross-functional teams by setting clear performance expectations and ensuring strong staffing, training, succession planning, and collaboration across organizations.
