Throughout my five years of scheduling and call center experience, I have developed the ability to manage work queues efficiently, multitask in fast-paced environments, and communicate clearly with patients, providers, and internal teams. I also have mentoring and coaching experience, where I helped foster a collaborative learning environment that improved overall team performance and service quality. I regularly utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Epic as well as communication platforms such as Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams, to coordinate with colleagues and resolve complex inquiries.
In my current role within Care Access, I manage high-volume patient calls, schedule primary care and laboratory appointments, assist with prescription refill coordination, and proactively outreach to patients who are due for follow-up visits. Previously, while working in the UnitedHealthcare provider call center, I supported providers with eligibility and benefits inquiries, which strengthened my knowledge of healthcare terminology, insurance processes, and regulatory considerations.
