Recent Microbiology and Biochemistry graduate from the University of Idaho with extensive research experience in molecular techniques and fungal ecology. My research has focused on ectomycorrhizal fungal communities and truffle production, where I've developed skills in DNA sequencing, bioinformatic analysis, and custom R programming for data processing. As a McNair Scholar and research assistant, I've contributed to two projects studying fungal communities in southern Idaho, presenting findings at national conferences.
Experienced in both laboratory management and science education through roles as a TA for a Lab Microbiology course and SSS-TRIO tutor. Proficient in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, gel electrophoresis, and DNA/RNA analysis, with strong skills in data analysis using R-Studio and various bioinformatics tools.
