I feel as though I’m a great candidate for this position because of over thirty years of experience as trained professional. I posess a excellent work ethic sense of urgency and passion for the hospitality industry and a unwillingness desire to please the guest.
My culinary career began over 30 yrs ago in Baltimore MD as a dish washer. I was recruited by the head Chef who instilled in me if I wanted to make any out of myself I need to learn something more than how to wash dishes. He saw something in me that led him to promote me to cook and showed me the basics of cooking. With his tutelage I was able to work my way up from cook to oversee large of premises catered events. After I had reached my full potential as catering chef I decided that I needed a formal education so I enrolled in the Baltimore Culinary Institute were I graduated with a AA degree in Culinary Arts.
After graduating and working in different levels I decided to relocate to Las Vegas where I found success working in health care and the private school sector. I’m currently working at Caesars Forum as a banquet cook II.
My most relevant education experience was at the Baltimore Culinary Institute were I learned what it meant to be a professional and all about customer service and how it’s a valuable asset to in sure longevity in the hospitality industry.
