I have been in law enforcement for the last 15 years. I possess critical thinking problem solving skills coupled with excellent analytical skill. I test high in Emotional Intelligence and excel at communication and collaboration. Improving others lives and leading from the front has been a constant in any career I have undertaken. I am looking for challenges that pair well with my ability to lead teams to success.
I am currently a Courts Services Officer for the State of Kansas. Prior to that I was a Sergeant with the Weld County Sheriff's Office in Colorado. As a Sergeant, I was responsible for up to 35 direct reports, along with onboarding, training, and personnel selection. As a law enforcement officer I have/am enforcing the laws of the State that often includes data analysis, investigation, report writing, evidence collection, and testifying.
In 2023 I graduated with a Master of Science degree. I majored in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Organizational Learning and Performance.
