Currently an Albuquerque Police Department Sergeant. I have 18 years of experience in law enforcement. I am a master instructor in defensive tactics and instructor development. I am also a use of force instructor and a Master Taser Instructor.

I also run a LLC training Law Enforcement. I have experience in all areas of Law Enforcement. I am very familiar with NM State Statue and Case law pertaining to Use of Force and search and seizure. I have over two years of experience as a sergeant.

I also have taken First Line Supervisor courses and a FBI LEEDA course. I am eligible for retirement from PERA and am willing to work a federal job and continue to serve in this profession.

I have experience as a Sergeant from Santa Fe Police Department. I also am currently a Sergeant at the Albuquerque Police Department. I have 6 years of experience as a SWAT Operator from when I worked in Santa Fe. I was also a Team Leader for the Sniper Team for 2 years.

Experienced Instructor in Defensive Tactics. Easy to understand and patient with students. Currently a Master Instructor in Mechanics of Arrest, Restraint, and

Control (Defensive Tactics). Master Instructor in General Police Instructor.

Instructor in Reality Based Training and certified Reality Based Training Evaluator.

Active competitor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Brown Belt Division).

Active Coach for adults and children in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Actively training Law Enforcement Officers in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

I have over 70 credit hours from New Mexico Highlands University. I have taken numerous Law Enforcement trainings on Leadership to include “First Line Supervisor and FBI LEEDA Training”. I have nearly 5 years as a APD Academy instructor. I served as an Advanced Training Instructor, Reality Based Training Instructor and a Basic Academy Instructor.
