I use my expertise in from jobs in education, hospitality, customer service, environmental stewardship, field work and more- all to deliver exceptional and genuine work, connections, and community.
I started ‘working’ very young, always with the mindset of “find what I can do to help.” Starting in college, I began my career in outdoor education, hospitality, and recreation- one that would continue to build over the next 14+ years. I've worked extensively with students in every environment, understanding the complexities and resiliencies needed for the world of education. I've managed staffs of 30-50 employees, navigating the world of administrative support (where I think my skills have best shone, here in working with my team). I've worked most positions on any kind of hierarchical “work pole,” and know where my abilities tend to fit best in the puzzle.
Formally, I graduated from college ten years ago with an honor's degree in Environmental Studies, as well as Religion. Informally, I myself am an educator, and every stage of my life (regardless of size) is a type of education to me. Over the last year, I learned (and taught myself) how to deliver exceptional content as an Expedition Leader on National Geographic cruises.
Education comes in every form possible- my favorite thing is to figure out all the different ways to learn.
