I worked as a remote graphic design and/or animation intern for four nonprofit organizations including the Franco-American Centre, Lil' Iguana's Children's Safety Foundation, the Childhood Cancer Society, and the New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance. My portfolio, which contains both 2D and 3D animated videos, can be accessed at rodeydesigns.com/portfolio.
From October to December 2021, I worked remotely as a graphic design and animation intern with the Franco-American Centre with my official title being Graphic Design Intern. In addition to designing a social media image promoting an event of theirs and Christmas cards, I used their commissioned characters, modeled them into 3D characters, and pioneered 3D animation being used at their organization. From January to February 2022, I worked remotely as an animation intern for the Lil' Iguana's Children's Safety Foundation, creating 2D animated safety lessons for children.
From June to December 2022, I worked remotely as an animation intern for the Childhood Cancer Society, creating 3D animated videos featuring their anthropomorphic teddy bear mascot Adventure Ted. Next, from April to October 2024, I worked remotely as an animation intern for the New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance, creating 3D animated educational videos about New England marine animals. Finally, from March to May 2025, I remotely animated a 3D version of a 2D opening movie used in the video game Two Robots Unleashed and collaborated on a UX document with its creator.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Graphic Design and Media Arts with a concentration in 3D modeling and animation from Southern New Hampshire University in September 2021. In April 2022, I earned the certificate of “Distinguished Scholar” from the DMgt Senior Vice President of Southern New Hampshire University.
