I am an ambitious recent graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego's Higher Education Leadership Masters Program. Having working with a variety of first year experience and new student programming, I am well equip to work in a setting that is high energy and builds community while providing resources and programming for students to enjoy. I love to travel and explore new places that have so much to offer!
My experience in higher education connects primarily to New Student Programming and Alumni Affairs. Having organized campus wise events like Late Night Breakfast for students to unwind and de-stress during finals and smaller events like Letters From Home where students stop by a table to write a note to a family or friend, I have enjoyed watching students utilize these fun resources to connect with their peers. During my graduate assistantship and graduate internship, I was developing curriculum for a first year seminar and a leadership development course for students. Alongside that, I wrote an Open Educational Resource for the First Year Seminar course to provide specific campus resources for incoming students that they can look back on to reference at any time.
This past December, I graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with my masters in Higher Education Leadership.
